What is Internal Pelvic Attunement?
Internal Pelvic Attunement is a pelvic manual therapy technique, working gently through the vaginal opening. This work addresses all of the tissues, the fascia that holds the pelvic organs, and the connection to our energetic central channel.
Internal Pelvic Attunement is a weaving of techniques – myofascial release, craniosacral, visceral manipulation, structural integration, and spiritual healing. This is a technique that I have distilled over the past 22 years of working with women’s pelvises. This sequence is supportive for centering, energetic clearing, fertility, healing from loss, healing from sexual trauma, increasing access to pleasure and creativity, easing low back pain and fine tuning structural alignment.
The internal portion of the bodywork is a potent part of the session which includes many systemic treatments for balance – craniosacral, structural bodywork for the deep layers, and spiritual healing. The traditions I work with for spiritual healing and blessings are from the Norse traditions and Mesoamerican traditions of Limpia.
Internal Pelvic Attunement is a practice of listening deeply to the body’s center – the sacred space of the pelvis, where creation, grounding and vitality flow. Many of us carry unspoken tension, trauma, or disconnection in this part of ourselves and it can quietly shape the way we move through life. Through gentle awareness and compassionate presence, internal pelvic attunement helps you reconnect with this core place, restoring harmony between body, energy and spirit.
This work is not about forcing change, but about softening into what is already there. By slowing down and attuning to subtle sensations, breath and energy, you begin to uncover the wisdom the body holds. The pelvis is more than a physical structure – it is an energetic gateway, a foundation for embodiment, intimacy, and creative power.
What is the Internal Pelvic Attunement Series for practitioners?
It is a unique series of classes that are highly specialized and are open to acupuncturists, chiropractors, naturopathic physicians, licensed massage therapists, licensed nurse practitioners, and midwives.
The series is designed for practitioners who are called to work in the tender, powerful realm of pelvic healing.
In this series, we practice forms of contact that support balance in the pelvic floor, womb–heart connection, and overall embodiment. Together we explore:
- How to discern which type of contact to use, and in what timing.
- Assessing pelvic muscular and energetic balance.
- Using both manual therapies and supportive language to encourage healing.
- Creating sacred space, clear boundaries, and safety for this profoundly creative part of the body.
- Craniosacral holds and myofascial techniques that nourish the nervous system, pelvic fascia, and central channel.
- Material specific to the female body, womb space, and surrounding energy field — practices that also apply to the whole body and the natural ways it heals.
- Trauma-informed approaches that support resolution and integration.
- Advanced explorations: recognizing lineage patterns, clearing energetic residues that block creative and sexual flow.
- Teaching clients to maintain sovereignty in their sexual and creative space.
- Refining your own boundaries as you expand into this work.
This training is experiential, rooted in presence, and honors body and spirit.
